YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy policy
How we handle information when you visit RemovalPro, enquire about the CRM or use a company account.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
Who we are
RemovalPro is operated by Barakeh Group Limited trading as RemovalPro. We are responsible for the personal information used to handle our website enquiries and administer our relationship with CRM customers.
For enquiries, privacy questions or requests about your information, email info@thehouseremovalcompany.co.uk.
Information we collect
When you send a trial enquiry, we collect your name, company name and email address, plus a phone number and message if you choose to provide them. Please do not include sensitive personal information or your customers' details in this form.
Using a CRM account also involves account and contact details, permissions, preferences and records of relevant actions. Hosting and security systems may record technical information such as IP addresses, request times and the pages requested. Our enquiry rate-limiting system uses hashed identifiers to help prevent spam and abuse.
The required enquiry fields let us identify your business and reply. Providing them is voluntary, but we cannot process the form without them. Submitting an enquiry does not create a subscription or authorise a payment.
How and why we use information
We use enquiry details to answer questions, discuss RemovalPro and help arrange access. We use account information to provide the CRM, support users, manage business relationships and protect the service.
Our lawful basis for responding to business enquiries and administering business contacts is our legitimate interest in providing and supporting RemovalPro. We also have a legitimate interest in preventing fraud, spam and unauthorised access. Where you personally enter into a contract with us, processing needed to provide that service or take steps you request before a contract is based on contractual necessity. Some records may be needed to meet legal obligations.
The trial enquiry form does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not use it to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Customer information inside the CRM
A removal company using RemovalPro is normally responsible for deciding how its own customers', staff members' and moving-job information is used. RemovalPro processes that information to provide the CRM on the company's instructions, rather than treating it as a trial enquiry for our own business.
If your question concerns a removal quotation, move or job record, contact the removal company handling that job first. Its privacy notice explains its purposes, retention arrangements and how to exercise your rights. Access within the CRM is controlled by company membership, role and job allocation.
Who receives information
Trial enquiries are sent to our team at info@thehouseremovalcompany.co.uk. The form does not create a moving job in another company's workspace or send an automatic marketing email to the person enquiring.
Authorised personnel and providers supporting hosting, email, backups and technical operations may handle information where needed to provide the service. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to handle legal claims. We do not sell personal information submitted through the enquiry form.
Where a provider processes information outside the UK, the transfer must be covered by an appropriate UK adequacy arrangement or another lawful safeguard. Contact us to ask which providers handle your information, where it is processed and what protections apply.
How long information is kept
We keep enquiry correspondence while dealing with your request and for as long as it is reasonably needed for related discussions, an ongoing customer relationship, complaints or legal obligations. Retention decisions take account of the purpose of the record, the last meaningful contact, unresolved issues and applicable legal requirements.
Account and security records are kept for the periods needed to operate and protect the service. Customer records inside a company workspace are managed according to that company's instructions and applicable service arrangements. Contact us for information about a particular record or to request deletion; some information may need to be retained where a legal reason applies.
Cookies and security
The RemovalPro homepage and trial enquiry form do not add advertising or analytics cookies. CRM sign-in uses an essential company_session cookie to keep you signed in and determine which workspace you may access. The session lasts up to 12 hours. A legacy thrc_session cookie may also exist in browsers that used an older version of the CRM.
These sign-in cookies are needed for the account service you request. Blocking them will prevent normal signed-in use. The live website uses HTTPS, and access to CRM information is restricted through authentication and permissions. External services you choose to open, such as Google Calendar, have their own privacy and cookie notices.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you can ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccuracies, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy of information you have provided. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Your right to object: you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests. You can also object to direct marketing at any time.
Send requests to info@thehouseremovalcompany.co.uk. We may need to confirm your identity before sharing or changing information. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why.
Questions and complaints
Please contact us first if you are concerned about how your information is handled. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office through the ICO complaints service. Further information about your rights is available from the ICO.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service or our information-handling practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
